I never saw Sasuke as the "Emo, brooding self-absorbed jerk" that you saw. Once I learned about his clan dying, I pretty much let all of that slide and I looked at Naruto as a bad friend for wanting Sasuke to stay around to polish his ego; yeah, I HATED Naruto for the narcissism he displayed without any right to it, but that lessened during the Tsunade retrieval arc. However, it got worse once he and Sasuke had that fight on the hospital roof. Naruto could have EASILY turned that fight down with Sasuke still beingg injured, but his ego wanted a win over Sasuke more than wanting his friend to get better. Sasuke, on the other hand, I could not stand what that bastard Kishimoto did to my cool, calm and collected boy after he found out about Itachi (which I COMPLETELY agree with you on how that was a dogsh!t twist.) There were SO MANY PLOTHOLES about Itachi being the good guy that were never covered up and we were just expected to go along with it. Also, Sasuke was told that Tobi was the other guy who killed his clan.... WHY ARE YOU HELPING HIM?!? Oh, right, Kishimoto needs Sasuke to go crazy so he has a reason to fight and be beaten by Naruto at the finale. First of all, Sasuke's original plan to JUST go after the coucil members who made the decision was ABSOLUTELY JUSTIFIED, but then we find out he's going after EVERYONE because... reasons. They did Sasuke and his clan SO DIRTY; supposedly his ancestor Izuna was the reason ninjutsu started being used as a weapon instead of "connecting people"... Ahem... Kishimoto,... HUMANS ARE EASILY CORRUPTED BY POWER; Izuna never had to be the "driving force" behind chakra's misusage, but Kishimoto needed ANOTHER reason for Sasuke to be the bad guy.

Sometimes in life you have to take orders from someone who is younger than you. The Autobots under Rodimus Prime was a good example of that. The toy was not good. But Hot Rod was.

...Let's be absolutely honest with ourselves. Everyone should have called it quits, the moment Kishimoto decided to add in the fact that "Naruto and Sasuke are reincarnations of demi-gods, like Indra and Ashura". THAT was the final nail in the coffin. Ruining ANY ounce of good will and credibility that Kishimoto had, as a writer. Like, how do you do this? Everything that we have seen of Naruto's struggles, are immediately null & void, because of the fact that "oh, he was always meant to be the new Messiah" or some shit. And it doesn't even benefit Naruto in ANY way, it just ends up painting him as a complete freaking moron for not ever asking or wondering, "Why did I manage to survive, even the worst of conditions, up until this point?". Sure, he had the fox chakra, but, why even make the Uzumakis their own, freaking clan? With chakra reserves as big as the asshole of a humpback whale? And it just ends up proving Neji right, that, "every path is laid out for everyone, the moment they are born", one of the core elements as to why Naruto was even considered such a sympathetic and relateable character. His core belief system about "even the lowest of the low can change course" gets completely negated, just for the simple fact, "He was always meant to be a demi-god, literally AND metaphorically", it just cheapens everything, and makes Naruto's hardships seem so freaking shallow.

Bayverse Megatron really did sucked. The greatest and feared leader of the Deceptions was reduced to a dependent lackey who can barely defend himself. It's just so embarrassing to see Megatron getting his ass handed to him throughout the movies. Usually that's more of starscream's thing or waspinator from beast wars. XD This is Megatron! One of the strongest and smartest villains in Transformers history.

1 more reason Rodimus looks bad in my opinion, I think the Decepticons were sorely weakened in season 3 which makes Rodimus look even more inept. The decepticons lost Starscream AND Shockwave, the Decepticons most capable commanders if Megatron was absent. They lost Cybertron due to Unicron, it wasn't Rodimus taking Cybertron from the decepticons, more like it just fell into his hands as a freebee. And I dont think Cyclonus "the warrior" replaced the former Decepticon commanders at all, he couldnt really unite the Decepticons forces like Starscream could. So season 3 meant the Decepticons had no capable commanders in Galvatrons absence, they came across as uncoordinated, and their leader Galvatron was mentally challenged after that plasma bath. With the mortal enemies of the Autobots in such a rough state, it reflects poorly on Rodimus as leader of the Autobots for season 3, as his opponents just look bad.

The movie was a shameful greedy cash grab to market new toys. It had no narrative intention ofher than that. It broke a lot of kids hearts and yet it didn't work as they brought Optimus back. On it's own the movie made no sense to a kid who watched the cartoon for 2 years. Autobots and Decepticons were both shot multiple times every episode. In the movie though a shot means your dead? Huh? That's why we thought it was dumb.

I have watched someone talk about the issue about Naruto's writing and apparently, the reason why certain things feel so rushed can be due to the "bullying" Kishimoto is facing. He was truly paassionate in developing Sakura as a character in his manga but because of Studio Perriot I guess ruining Sakura's character by adding scenes that makes her look more of a b*tch (in the beginning at least, giving bad first impressions and viewers' refusal of acknowledging what character development even is (believe me or not, it's amazing how many times I encounter people generalizing a character to a single, usually negative trait made from first impressions without looking at their development)) while she was ok/good in the manga and not as much of an @$$ and favoring Hinata way too much, when she has in reality only appeared in... not much, less than Tenten, through adding loads more of scenes than she's supposed to appear in. Kishimoto has likely attempted to fight against the hate against Sakura (especially as she's modeled after his wife), but eventually just gave up, along with editors pretty much telling him to cater to Hinata fans more. He had to strip Sakura's title of heroine to Hinata since he realizes at some point that people won't even take notice the details about Sakura that makes Sakura since all the people have is hatred for her. He pretty much just doesn't care anymore. He's tired of fighting back since it may not be approved and/or will be modified anyways. A lot of things he says just seem inconsistent especially towards the end

I spent nearly 10 straight tiring hours downloading 19 seasons of the simpsons from WCO after my sister cancelled her disney+. I hear people say season 10 is the last good season. But for me I just drew the line at 19. This show today is like a friggin dead mall on life support!

Enjoyed the video and agreed basically with everything. Just wanted to say that in the original they even say the third hokage has mastery over all 5 nature releases and knows every jutsu in the village. Just wanted to add that to the about around 1:32:30…. Also your point on the third originally being portrayed as strongest is so true and confused me for years.

personally, though, Transformers movies passed the torch to Rodimus done right. Everything after that.. not os much

They should have ended it with that one future Christmas episode where Maggie has her kid and Homer unfroze Abe. It would have been fitting the series started with a Christmas episode end it on one. Also all the lessons learned each episode doesn't matter since the characters go back to how they were before.

I feel like the Simpsons movie was their perfect out. And they STILL kept going... From what I've seen The Simpsons are borderline Family Guy now, doing so many possible futures and other bizarre gimmicks that I would have found too out there and at times even offensive even for them. The one that really made me do a double take is that Homer is now (was?) a 90s kid like you and me, when so many episodes already established Homer and Marge as 60s/70s people.

The problem was that the character wasn't a slow burn. If you had the hot rod character as part of Gen 1 and there were stories that got people to know the character prior to being handed the leader role; kids would have bought in. Having the entire introduction and transition story in the movie alone felt meh to me as a 13 year old, so it probably felt meh to a bunch of other people.

Had Rodimus prome been an amazing toy it could have had a chance considering the 3rd season is actually really interestign and takes the fandom in some cool places. Sadly the Rodimus prime toy was hot garbage. It was such a huge step down from the OG Prime and it was so out of scale with Galvatron with no articulation that it was not with the price to even buy it. First and foremost Transformers was a toy line and the season 3 and movie toys were hot garbage. The lore is important but it needs to be in step with the toys.

I used to love the Simpsons but it has been going on for too long. It should have ended years ago.

2:50 I know how to end the simpsons with dignity do what south park did with it 20th season have the final season be serialized with an ongoing story (except don’t do it how south park did that was a disaster) it should take inspiration from bojack horseman that show literary revitalized adult animation inspiring show’s like f is for family with it’s emotional storytelling (I hope family guy, american dad, futurama, rick and morty, and the king of the hill revival also end like this, south park should also end like this too but avoid doing the mistake they did during they’re first attempt at a serialized story in season 20).

I still loved the 1986 movie and thought the death of Optimus was fine and the whole matrix was cool but I agree so I think if you make this movie non canon it would make fans happier

Absolutely right the show should definitely end soon same goes with family guy (but not south park that can go on for a little longer).

Maybe go out with a bang, one final episode where they finally show the cast growing up and getting their life priorities straight lol

Aside from the voice cast aging, it definitely feels like the show is just throwing ideas at the wall and if it sticks (even if it's just the 35 year old adhesives barely holding it in place), they make an episode about it.

Voice cast age is also a big concern for One Piece, we've seen this happen to quite a few seiyus, luckily none of the straw hats that joined pre time skip, but it was the case for Jimbe's

No one knew Rodimus before the movie. He was unlikable from the very start. His design was stupid. Is he a sports car or is he a truck dragging a trailer? I will say, if the live action movies haven’t figured out that the fans love bumblebee and since he is a sports car (not a vw bug) they could pull off making bee “Rodimus Prime.” (A sports car made leader).
